NUR Salud Comunitaria Joins PR VOAD as Its Newest Member

We are proud to announce that NUR Salud Comunitaria has officially joined Puerto Rico Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster (PR VOAD) as the coalition’s newest member. PR VOAD is a network of organizations dedicated to strengthening disaster response and recovery efforts across Puerto Rico by promoting cooperation, communication, coordination, and collaboration.

As part of our commitment to health justice and community resilience, we participated in the PR VOAD 2025 Conference, where we connected with leaders in disaster response, shared perspectives on community health challenges, and explored strategies for building sustainable recovery efforts.

Our membership in PR VOAD will allow us to broaden our impact, ensuring that vulnerable communities in Puerto Rico—especially in underserved areas like Vieques—have access to essential health services and disaster relief resources.

We look forward to working alongside other dedicated organizations to build a more resilient and empowered Puerto Rico.
